Wired Vs. Wireless

Dear Tenant of this Wired internet building,

If you desire to have WiFi in your unit, you will need to provide your own broadband WiFi router (no modem required) and you should read the manual included in the box. You will need to:

• Plug an ethernet cable into the blue data jack in your unit and the other end of that cable into the routers Internet / WAN port.
• Make sure your WiFi router is acting as a router and not a "Bridge" or a stand-alone Access Point.
• Follow the router manufacturer's instructions and then get logged into the router and set the router's internet port to "Obtain an IP automatically" or "Use DHCP".
• Set up your secured & encrypted Wifi within the router as well.

Please note that your use of your router is beyond what Supernova can support. If you have troubles setting up your router, please consult the manual or contact the router manufacturer for support in using that product.

Also please note that if you experience slow speeds when using your own WiFi router, consult with the router manufacturer to troubleshoot.



Please call Supernova for any other troubles you have with speeds or connectivity when you have your computer plugged directly into the blue data jack.
